The Psychological-Psychotherapeutic Outpatient Clinic operated by the Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at the University of Potsdam, Germany provides psychotherapy, clinical diagnosis and counseling for children, adolescents and adults for all disorders with ICD classifications F9, F3, F4, F5 and F8. Behavioural therapy is the primary approach used in our work. The clinic provides assistance in certain cases according to § 28 KJHG (German Children and Youth Service Act). The clinic offers experience with psychotherapy and counseling as part of the research and teaching activities in the Department of Psychology. For students, it offers opportunities for internships as well as practice-related topics for dissertations.

As of October 1st, 1999, the Psychological-Psychotherapeutic Outpatient Clinic is authorised to participate in the outpatient psychotherapeutic care through Brandenburg Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KVBB).

The Psychological-Psychotherapeutic Outpatient Clinic has a formal cooperation agreement and works closely with the Academy for Psychotherapy and Intervention Research (API). For example, API trainees complete their practical experience in our clinic.
